Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note, if your coat has been personalised (e.g., reflective strips, embroidery, or custom buckle sizes), we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds.

You are required to pay for the return of your order. You can always contact us for any return question at molly@doggyarmour.co.uk

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like special orders or personalised items. If we have added or removed any feature that isn't included in our standard design, we cannot accept the return. We also do not accept returns for products that have been worn or damaged in any way. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Custom-Made Products and Alterations

Custom-made Doggy Armour coats are produced based on the measurements and information provided at the time of ordering. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all measurements and details submitted are accurate.

We will offer alterations to custom-made coats for up to three (3) months from the date you receive your order, only where the alteration is required due to an error on our part. Any such alterations will be assessed by us and carried out at our discretion.

Alterations will not be provided where changes are required due to circumstances outside of our control, including but not limited to changes in your dog’s size or weight, incorrect fit supplied by the customer after the templating process, or general wear and tear.

After the initial three (3) month period, or where an alteration is requested for reasons not attributable to an error by Doggy Armour, alterations may be offered subject to approval and will incur a starting fee of £25, plus any additional charges depending on the nature and complexity of the alteration required.

We reserve the right to decline alteration requests where the requested changes are not feasible or would compromise the integrity, safety, or performance of the product.
